Pet things that belong in the room
Most pet products are designed as if the home does not matter. Bright plastic, loud branding, a shape that only makes sense in a pet shop. So they end up pushed into the laundry, hidden behind a door, or quietly tolerated in the corner of a room you otherwise love.
Pawsync started from a simple idea: the things our pets use every day should be designed with the same care as the rest of the furniture. Not disguised. Not apologetic. Just well made, quiet to look at, and easy to live with.
What we make
We focus on the pieces a pet uses every single day, because those are the ones that sit out in the open.
- Automatic feeders. Meals on a schedule you set once, in a matte finish with no screens shouting at you and no branding across the front.
- Water fountains. Circulating, filtered water that encourages pets to drink more, in a quiet unit that wipes clean.
- Beds and soft pieces. Deep sided, genuinely comfortable, with covers that come off and go in the wash.
How we decide what to make
Every piece has to earn its place in three ways before we will sell it.
It has to look right in a room. We choose calm finishes, soft edges and shapes that sit low. If a product would only look good in a photo studio, it does not make the range.
It has to survive real life. Pets knock things, spill things and lean on things. Bases are weighted so they stay put. Bowls lift out for the sink. Surfaces wipe down with a damp cloth rather than needing to be taken apart.
It has to be simple to use. Feeding times set on the unit itself, not buried in an app. Nothing to pair, nothing to update, nothing that stops working when a server somewhere goes down.
The details we care about
A sealed lid so dry food stays crisp to the last meal. A soft foot so an impatient nose does not push the feeder across the floor. A bowl that comes away in one piece, because the part their mouth touches should be the easiest part to clean. These are small things. They are also the difference between a product you put up with and one you stop noticing, in the best way.
Who we are
My name is Ioannis Athanasiadis, and I started Pawsync to change the way pets get fed. Feeding should fit around the owner rather than the other way around, so automation does the remembering and the day gets easier instead of busier.
We are based in South Australia, and we are working towards putting Pawsync in homes around the world.
